Is Bubble Bash Legit?

Bubble Bash is legit and has a 4.8 star rating with over 12,800 ratings on the Apple App Store. The app is also within the top 100 most popular board games on the app store. However, players can also lose more money than they make with this app and earnings aren't guaranteed.

Is Bubble Bash Legit Or A Scam? (Our Honest Review!) (1)

Overall, Bubble Bash is similar to other cash games like Bubble Cash and Bubble Buzz. But this app isn't as well-known, and some of the app store reviews are a bit concerning, which I'll get into later.

What Is Bubble Bash & What Does It Offer?

Bubble Bash is free to download for iOS devices. And it's a similar concept to other competitive cash games like Bingo Cash and Solitaire Cash.

Once you download the app, you complete a brief tutorial to learn how the game works. But things are pretty simple, especially if you've played bubble popping games before.

The goal of the game is to clear your screen of bubbles. You do this by aiming your “bubble” at similarly-colored bubbles. If you hit two or more of the same-colored bubbles, they all explode, falling to the bottom of the screen. If you want to switch your bubble with a different colored one, there is a backup option in your “sling” you can swap out.

That’s pretty much it. A few other things to note: if your bubble doesn’t touch like-colored bubbles, it will be added to the “bubble structure” and ultimately create more bubbles you have to bring down.

Bubble Bash also adds some skill into the gameplay since there are power-ups and special bubbles on the board, like Super Bombs and Treasure Chests.

If you can clear your screen before the 90 seconds are up, you get an additional 1500 points. You’ll also get more points for every second left, which is important for scoring more points than your opponent.

Another thing that makes Bubble Bash unique is that there are bi-colored bubbles, which makes it easier to clear the screen. For instance, a blue-green bubble could be knocked out by a blue bubble or a green bubble (assuming there is one more of either color touching the bi-colored bubble as well).

Overall, the gameplay puts a fun twist on this classic arcade-style game. And if you deposit money, you can compete in cash games, which I'll cover right now.

Earning Potential & Entering Cash Games

The main way to earn money with Bubble Bash is to play in its cash games.

From the homepage, you can choose from different free and cash games to enter. Free games pay you with coins if you win and are a good way to practice your skills. But if you pay entry fees, you can compete in cash tournaments for a chance to win money.

Tournaments have four to eight players. The prize pool is split amongst the top few players in a tournament, so you have to perform to earn.

How much tournaments pay largely depends on the entry fee. For example, one game might cost $2 to enter and have a prize pool of $20. But another might cost $5 to enter and have a prize pool of $55.

Many times the first-place winner will collect something like half the prize pool, while second and third split the rest. However, it varies by game. You can check the split by clicking on the tournament to see how much first, second, and third will get.

You can also play games using “coins” as an entry fee. You initially get 50 coins when you sign up. The prizes for these games are usually more coins. Unfortunately, unlike some apps that pay you for playing games, Bubble Bash doesn't often have any games on the homepage where you can transition those coins into cash prizes.

In other words, it's basically impossible to make money with this app unless you deposit money to compete…sorry to burst your bubble!

If you're skilled at bubble shooter games, you could turn this side hustle app into some extra cash. But players can also lose more money than they make, so keep this in mind.

Cashing Out & Rewards

Bubble Bash lets you lets you cash out with PayPal money or with the payment method you used to deposit money. This is similar to other PayPal money games, and I like that there's the potential to earn real cash and not just gift cards.

However, the fees and cash out process are pretty bad.

For starters, withdrawals under $15 get hit with a $1.5 processing fee. Withdrawals over $15 also get charged $0.40. But wait…there’s more. Deposits are subject to a 10% service fee! The fee is charged when you withdraw. That’s a little confusing, but the point is, you get dinged a lot when moving money out of the app (assuming you win.)

Bubble Bash withdrawals can also take one to six weeks. If you're looking for quick money, this isn't the best side hustle idea.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Offers both free and cash games
  • Fun and exciting gameplay
  • Easy to use
  • Lets you cash out with real money

Cons:

  • Free coins are essentially worthless
  • There's no Android game or Samsung game
  • 10% service fee on deposits
  • Long cash out times
  • Players can lose more money than they make

The Top Apps Like Bubble Bash

Bubble Bash is trying to make a name for itself in the crowded cash gaming market. But due to high fees and slow payouts, I'm not a huge fan of it.

However, there are plenty of Bubble Bash alternatives you can use to still earn. Some of my favorites include:

  • Freecash (PC)
  • Bubble Cash (iOS, Samsung)
  • Solitaire Cash (iOS, Samsung)
  • Kashkick (PC)
  • Blackout Bingo (iOS, Samsung)
  • Bingo Cash (iOS, Samsung)
  • Cash Giraffe (Android)
  • Solitaire Smash (iOS)

These platforms include a mix of deposit-based and no-deposit money games. So, you can find the right app for you and turn your next gaming session into some extra income.

Is Bubble Bash A Scam?

Bubble Bash isn't a scam, but we should mention one particular point that bothers a lot of people who play these bubble games (and you’ll see them posting about it in their reviews).

When you're awarded “bonus cash” that cash can't be withdrawn. You can use it when the cash you’ve deposited starts getting too low in order to enter tournaments. But if you make a withdrawal, you’ll forfeit your bonus cash.

These games tend to have tons of popups promoting bonus cash. When customers try to take all their cash out and discover that bonus cash has inflated their winnings, they can get upset.

Plus, some players and recent app store reviews complain that Bubble Bash takes forever to pay. Some players also suspect the app is full of bots and that games might be rigged. Overall, we don't suggest using this app.

Who Can Sign Up?

Bubble Bash is available in the United States and is free to download. However, you must be 17 or older to use the app. Additionally, cash games aren't available in these states:

  • Arkansas
  • Arizona
  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Louisiana
  • Montana
  • South Carolina
  • South Dakota
  • Tennessee

Is There Customer Support?

There is customer support, but it’s chat-based through the app. Don't expect speedy responses, but expecting a reply within 24 hours is reasonable.

Final Thoughts

Let’s wrap up our Bubble Bash review. Bubble Bash is not the best of the bubble games out there: the 10% deposit fee is pretty steep, the 1-6 week withdrawal process is slow, and there's not a long list of tournaments available on the homepage. The free coins are also pretty worthless, and you’ll need to put cash in if you want to actually win.

Overall, I think this app is similar to ones like Bubble Arena and Bubble Party; it falls a bit short when compared to some other top games out there.

Hopefully, this review helps you decide if it's worth using or not. But again, I suggest checking out our alternative suggestions instead for a higher chance at earning.
